Operation Hard Ball Cracks Indian Crime Syndicates Across Three Continents

"Operation Hard Ball," an extensive campaign by law enforcement authorities in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, has resulted in the indictment of 37 individuals associated with three organized crime syndicates based in India: the Bishnoi and Bhagwanpuria gangs. The accused are charged with extortion on a wide scale, drug trafficking in huge volumes, and the killing of a well-known Sikh leader in June 2023, outside a temple in Surrey, B.C. Astonishingly, the gangsters have planned these cross-continental crimes and the pipeline of drugs through smuggled cell phones from the comfort of their prison cells in India. Twenty-two people have already been apprehended, along with 1,000 kg of cocaine.
